JOB PURPOSE:
A Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining store appearance, retail customer relationships, and coaching staff to set them up for success.
Additionally, he or she oversees and is accountable for the operation of the store and ensures maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, and human resources management.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that each customer receives excellent service by establishing and maintaining outstanding store standards, demonstrating solid product knowledge and ensuring all other requirements of excellent customer service are met and exceeded.
Maintain merchandise stock levels and presentations.
Ensure that the selling floor is adequately stocked.
Lead and maintain visual standards of the store.
Follow up with customers, transfers and troubleshoot when necessary to solve any issues.
Coach, counsel and continually develop staff, managing performance and accountability; work with the management team for all employee matters.
Continually and actively recruit candidates.
Train and develop the store team and teach product knowledge and our in house brand Figwood/ North Shore.
Work on special projects such as events.

Qualifications:
3+years of retail and/or office management experience Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to build relationships both internally and externally Outstanding problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations.
Self-motivated Team player, who can grasp and deliver the total goals for the store Positive attitude Job Type:
