Job Description:
Fidelity's Enterprise Infrastructure Data Services team is looking for Data Engineer who wants to deliver transformative IT data services.
We are a dynamic group of professionals looking to leverage emerging models of data lake technologies to rapidly improve the productivity and experience of Fidelity's analytic and data scientist teams.
We are working in continuous synergy across multiple IT areas to change the way our IT associates work and deliver.
The Sr Data Services Engineer will assist in design, work independently on development and implementation using best practices for data integration, which includes cloud and/or traditional infrastructure technologies.
Your role will be to deliver data centric data integration solutions with transformation logic to be consumed by our customers.
You will be responsible to work with the Data Architects, Business Analysts, Customers and Solution Architects when integrating data with end to end development activities.
The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring RMDS experience (Snowflake and Oracle) - required Database development (PL/SQL, ANSI SQL) - required.
RMDS experience (Snowflake and Oracle) - required Designing and developing complex data integration solutions - required Knowledge of data modeling techniques - required Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS required, Azure a plus) RMDS experience (PostgreSQL, MS SQL server and others) - preferred Knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts - preferred Advanced data manipulation languages and frameworks (Java, Python, JSON) - preferred Continuous Deployment Continuous Integration design and development - a plus Knowledge of cloud security integration design protocols (AWS, AZURE) - a plus Knowledge of streaming platforms (Apache Kafka) - a plus Knowledge of scheduling technologies (Control-M, AutoSys) - a plus Ability to work in an Agile team structure.
Ability to gather customer requirements and make design decisions Ability to lead and mentor junior data engineers Ability to multi-task across multiple projects within different contexts in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and presentation skills Certifications:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
