We are looking for highly motivated Accounting Managers who want to help clients in a variety of accounting, finance, payroll, and tax services.
As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our Staff Accountants, managing client relationships, and assisting with high level business service needs.
DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Preparation of financial statements and discussion/analysis of resultsCreate and enter journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts for clients, using accrual basis accounting methodologyAssist client management in preparing budgets and/or forecastsWork directly with the client's outside CPA firm, and act as a liaison between the business owner and the CPAPrepare client billings and assist with collection activitiesManage transition of accounting function to QuickBooks or another appropriate software applicationAssist the client with banking related activities, including preparation of bank deposits, wire transfers and ACH activitySupervise and oversee DMS or client staff where needed.
Other duties and responsibilities as requiredRequirementsAssociate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferredFive (5) or more years of experience is requiredProficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office products requiredAbility to adjust to a flexible working environment and consistently meet deadlinesAbility to work independentlyExcellent communication, organization and supervision skillsExperience with payroll preparation or working with payroll reports is a plusAbout the Company:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
