Equity Trust Company is looking for an exceptional individual to take on an application development position with our Workflow application area. Working closely with our business units, this position will develop innovative and responsive solutions to increase our service to our clients and create process efficiencies through automation. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a highly customized workflow application and play a key role in ensuring the success of this core system. The ability to work with clients and end-users to develop and understand business requirements will be essential for success. We are looking for a passionate individual that wants to expand their knowledge base and is looking a new challenge.

Demonstrates ability to show relevant experience with each software development life cycle phase:
Design - Supporting collaboration of requirements & design
Development - agile or waterfall
Testing - Supporting testing, fixing defects, tracking defects,
Implementation - Planning, execution
Go Live - Post prod support, issue investigation, support software upgrades/patching
Essential Education/Attributes/Work
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, MIS, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2-4 years in coding and development using JAVA and .NET
Experience with Object Oriented Analysis (OOA), Design (OOD) and Design Patterns
Strong communication and problem solving ability.
High degree of accountability and responsibility for your work.
Ability to interpret abstract technical ideas and concepts effectively
General PC office skills with: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook.
Demonstrate strong customer service focus and ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence.
Programming experience in Java, J2EE technologies like Servlets, JSP, Tag Libraries,JDBC,JMS, Java mail, and JNDI a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
