A national finance company with more than 200 employees located in Westlake, Ohio has an opportunity for a Manager in the Collection department.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in overseeing people and operations in an automated collections environment.
Basic Function and
Responsibilities:
Manage the collection, customer service and new hire training program. Recommend and monitor appropriate collection policies, procedures and systems to minimize delinquency and repurchases to protect distributors and UCFS' reserves and meet or exceed the Department's AOP targets with the results that UCFS collections is a major competitive advantage and distributors and other clients support UCFS collections.
Select, train, evaluate and develop the employees and support staff needed to complete all necessary tasks/duties of the department and successfully carry out our plan to meet our objectives. Develop and implement collection and customer service strategies and procedures necessary to cost effectively minimize delinquency, repurchases and efficiently service the current account file. Provide support and training for our Australian, UK and potential future external operations. Develop, maintain and update all training and reference materials, collection notices and customer service letters. Work closely with Employee Services and oversee the training program to ensure a proper flow of new/revised policies and procedures to all operation employees. Ensure the integrity of the receivable file and credit ratings on delinquent accounts. Properly route recommended early chargebacks and report irregularities to the Director of Account Services, appropriate VP, Compliance and Finance Team Manager. Communicate with all internal constituencies regarding their concerns and ideas for changes and improvements in UCFS' collections.
