Cisco Solutions Engineer
Seeking a Cisco Solutions Engineer to provide services, delivery and support of advanced technology initiatives involving Cisco Routing, Switching, Security and Cisco Wireless.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIO
Overall five (5) years minimum work experience required with three (3) relevant experience in Cisco Telecommunications providing technical customer solutions & support within the organization's technical environment using voice, data, and infrastructure solutions with real world experience in Cisco Networking Solutions with work experience in Two (2) of the following provided technologies: 1) Routing, 2) Switching, 3) Wireless 4) S Requires I P Address Management and IP Address Management experience using either SolarWinds - or - other NMS Platforms. The individual identified for this position will provide services, delivery and support of advanced technology initiatives involving Cisco Routing, Switchhing, Security and Cisco Wireless. Requires successful proven organization skills, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with multi-tasking skills, and ability while working within a fast paced environment. Requires effective solid written and verbal communications skills and abilities. A PLUS INCLUDES: any experience or knowledge of Cisco WAVE Appliance and WAAS.
PRIMARY ROLES AND
Responsibilities:
The Cisco Solutions Engineer will implement and deliver projects in the organization's customer-facing environment in addition to, interfacing with customer contacts and in identifying customer needs. Will also provide technical expertise to customer solutions while providing and adding value through industry knowledge gaining technical awareness including advanced knowledge of the latest technologies and new evolving products and services.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with an educational focus on Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science.
CERTIFICATION:
Associate-Level CCNA Certification or other Associate-Level Certification.
CERTIFICATION CONSIDERED A PLUS;
Includes the CCNP Professional-Level Certification.
CLIENT LOCATION:
