They are in need of Medical Billers!
We are Having a hiring event on:
WEDNESDAY, May 20th 2015
10am-2pm!
6500 Rockside Rd. #385
Independence, OH 44131
Job Responsibilities/Functions:
o Work (call/mail/fax) assigned new business no later than 7 days after placement
o Utilize the most efficient method of claims submission whether it is electronic, fax or hard copy mailings.
o Make Follow Up Phone calls to Payers
o Work, file and maintain accounts in the 4 week filing system.
o Navigate and interpret client system for demographics, insurance, coding, payments, adjustments
o Provide bills and records to Coder on a weekly basis for accounts with Coding denials.
o Monitor/Work designated dispositions of a Clients Accounts Receivable according to management direction and training manual instructions
o Finalize all accounts via accurate posting of payments, reporting of credits or misapplied payments and closing/transferring balances to self pay or other payers as directed by the Level 3 Billing Specialist or Leadership Team directing the efforts of that client.
o Work with Externs or Level 1 Billing Specialists to ensure faxing, data entry or pulling of UB04/1500's, medicals or BWC information is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
o Provide weekly updates via email to Leadership Team regarding work accomplished, backlogs, questions regarding training or training manuals, outstanding issues prohibitive to timely completion of work including IT issues
Essential Education, Training, and Work
Experience:
o High School Diploma/GED or the completion of a Medical Billing program
o 3-5 years experience in related field
o Medical Terminology, ICD/CPT a plus
Hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday
$12-$14 an hour
Experience with Epic is preferred
