We are currently seeking a Hyl Business Analyst - OnBase Migration to join our team in Westlake, Ohio (US-OH), United States (US).

The OnBase Business Anlayst will lead the requirements effort to migrate OnBase customers off the OnBase On-Prem solution and on to the OnBase Cloud solution.
The business analyst's role is to plan and elicit requirements from stakeholders, ensure stakeholders understand business value and required outcomes, and to ensure requirements are documented and communicated and understood by the entire project team.

  • Perform stakeholder analysis in collaboration with project team to identify Business Owners who will participate in requirements activities.
  • Plan and facilitate meetings, workshops, interviews, or observations to elicit future state business process flows, business requirements, and functional requirements.
  • Write requirements in the form of narrative requirements, business rules, use cases, business process flows and other appropriate visual representations.

    Business Case, BRD, SRS/FRS, Process Flow)
  • Document decisions made during requirements elicitation sessions.
  • Analyze requirements to ensure they are logical, consistent, unambiguous, and do not conflict with other project requirements.
  • Manage the requirements documentation lifecycle from document creation, approval, and modifications per the project's change control process.
  • Conform to the document management procedures and requirements quality standards established for the project.
  • Collaborate with Technical Team on solution approaches and participate in design reviews to ensure solutions fulfill requirements.
  • Establish professional relationships with business to understand their business needs and objectives and represent those needs to the technical team.
  • Support the project risk management process by identifying and reporting risks and collaborating with the team to analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support technical design, development, testing and other support activities by answering questions, participating in reviews, and providing background information about business needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate the resolution of requirements questions that arise from design, development, and testing teams by maintaining ongoing communications with Business Owners over the lifecycle of the project.
  • Support UAT efforts including providing direction to Business Owners, writing UAT test scripts, facilitating UAT sessions, and triaging UAT questions and issues that arise during testing.
  • Ensure requirements cover the scope as defined in the SOW.
    Identify deviations from the SOW and communicate to project leadership in support of the change control process.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Industry Business Analysis certification a PLUS (PMI-BA, IIBA-CBAP, etc).
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst writing software requirements.
  • Excellent meeting planning and facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, project management and general system engineering and design.
  • Analytical / problem solving skills.
  • Ability to identify and evaluate IT and business challenges from a broad perspective.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to facilitate communication between non-technical business users and technical IT resources.
